About this service

Summary

For the last 3+ years I've been working on Nimbus, an open-source design system for ecommerce. As a product designer and design engineer, my role has been creating the entire Figma libraries for tokens, components & patterns, as well as coding the React codebase. Additionally, I led the design & development of our documentation site which features a dynamic, rich documentation based on markdown files that can be updated via Github pull requests by users of our design system.

I offer design system development services, focusing on creating and implementing scalable design systems for digital products. With my expertise in frontend engineering, I can ensure that the design system is not only visually appealing but also functional and efficient.

Figma design tokens & components library
Creation of a custom design tokens and components library to reuse in various design projects.

Components can be coded in React using Typescript type definitions for using across countless digital products maintaining a single source of truth. Additionally, a Storybook can be created to showcase components' usage and properties documentation.

A good, dynamic documentation site ensures everyone stays up-to-date with design system updates, good practices, common design patterns and useful code examples to replicate in various implementations.
