The first step in always consultation, to make sure we are on the same page with regards to expectations. Next is to receive the file and confirm with the client that it opens correctly. My transcribing process simply involves listening in detail to the speech and carefully typing it into a word document, or whatever is requested. Next comes page layout (formatting) and then finally proofreading.

Once the document is delivered the the client it can be revised until they are satisfied.
