The process of working on the E-Voting project for the BEM Election began with requirement gathering, where I discussed with the client to understand the system requirements, the election process, and the voting rules. After that, I conducted research and planning, including analyzing the existing e-voting system, creating user personas, and compiling user flows to optimize the user experience. Next, I created wireframing and prototyping, starting from the initial sketch (low-fidelity wireframe) to an interactive high-fidelity prototype using Figma or Adobe XD. After the design structure was determined, I developed the UI design and branding, ensuring that the visual appearance was in accordance with the BEM identity and responsive on various devices. The next stage was user testing & feedback, where the prototype was tested by several users to gain insight and make necessary improvements. After all revisions were complete, I did a handover & finalization, by compiling the design system, documentation, and submitting all the files needed for development by the developer team.
