Bring Your Meaningful Place Into LALATOWN
I paint more than a place.
I preserve the feeling of having been there.
LALATOWN began as a way of turning memories, favorite places, and meaningful moments into illustrated worlds. Over time, I realized those worlds didn’t have to belong only to me.
Today, I create custom illustrations inspired by cafés, boutique hotels, restaurants, neighborhoods, shops, and other beloved places.
The goal is not to copy a building.
The goal is to preserve what made it meaningful.
Sometimes that means a favorite corner table.
A balcony covered in plants.
A shop everyone remembers.
And sometimes it means the people, pets, and memories that belong there.
For example, in my Welcome to My LALATOWN illustration, I included beloved animals who are still with me as well as those who now live only in memory. They remain part of my world, so they remain part of the town.
The little details matter.
They are often what people remember most.
Your illustration can become artwork, visual storytelling, branded merchandise, keepsakes, guest gifts, or content for your website and social media.
Because people aren’t just taking home a product.
They’re taking home a memory.
If you have a meaningful place you’d like to preserve, celebrate, or reimagine, I’d love to hear about it.
