My Design Process for E-commerce Website Design
Discovery & Strategy We kick things off with a brief session to understand your products, customers, and business goals. I gather insights to ensure the design supports conversions, trust, and brand consistency.
Sitemap & User Flow Planning I map out key pages (e.g., Home, Shop, Product, Cart, Checkout) and define how users will navigate through your store; reducing friction and boosting engagement.
Wireframing Low-fidelity wireframes are created for the main screens to visualize structure and content hierarchy before adding visuals.
High-Fidelity UI Design Using Figma, I design polished, responsive layouts that feel modern, clean, and conversion-ready - built for both desktop and mobile shopping experiences.
Prototype & Walkthrough I build a clickable prototype so you can experience how the site will feel and flow before development begins.
Design System & Developer Handoff Final assets include a mini design system (buttons, color styles, typography) and a well-organized Figma file with notes for a smooth handoff to developers.
Revisions & Post-Handoff Support You’ll receive up to 2 rounds of revisions, plus support for questions from your dev team during implementation.
