An ongoing design partnership for teams that need consistent product thinking without hiring full-time. I embed with your team to shape product direction, design core experiences, and help make better decisions week over week as the product evolves.

What's included

Ongoing Product Direction & Design Leadership
Continuous product and design leadership to help shape direction, prioritize the right problems, and make thoughtful tradeoffs as the product evolves.
Experience & Feature Design
Design and iteration on core product experiences and features, from early concepts through polished designs. Always grounded in user needs and product goals.
Prototypes, Feedback & Validation
Interactive prototypes and lightweight validation to explore ideas, gather feedback, and reduce risk before investing heavily in build.
Decision Rationale & Next Steps
Clear documentation and walkthroughs of key decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations so the team understands what was decided, why, and what to tackle next.
FAQs
This is designed as an ongoing partnership rather than a fixed-scope engagement. Instead of handing off at the end, I stay embedded with the team to continuously shape the product as new information and priorities emerge.
Hiring full-time makes sense once design needs are consistent and well-defined. Fractional works best when teams need senior design leadership, flexibility, or help navigating ambiguity without the cost, ramp time, or long-term commitment of a full-time role.
I work primarily async and share progress early and often, usually through written updates and short Loom-style walkthroughs. We’ll start with a clear kickoff, then use lightweight check-ins and focused syncs when they’re genuinely useful. I’m flexible and adapt to what works best for the team as we go.
Engagements are structured around outcomes rather than hours. I will only partner with a small number of teams at a time to ensure consistent focus and availability, and we align on an expected level of involvement up front based on what the work requires.
