About this service

Summary

You will receive an extremely thorough and highly-detailed round of editing and proofreading of your document, along with an extensive document of actionable, specific feedback. My workflow has been refined over many years of doing this for fellow writers and university peers, so the work will be completed in a very timely manner - much faster than most other freelancers you will find.

Process

1 - in-depth conversation regarding any specifics you wish for me to address or to bear in mind whilst I am conduction my work. I will also give you a rough timeline of when you can expect deliverables.
2 - While I am editing/proofreading your manuscript, I will be creating the Manuscript Feedback document. In most cases, this document will be written concurrently to my editing so that you can read the feedback along with the edits in the primary manuscript.
3 - When I am finished with the manuscript, I will summarise my thoughts at the end of the Manuscript Feedback document. You will receive this document first while I polish up the primary manuscript.
4 - Once you are happy with the feedback provided, and are ready to receive the primary manuscript, I will deliver it in .docx and .pdf format.

What's included

  • Manuscript with Tracked Changes

    I will return your manuscript in the format of your choice with any of my edits/corrections done via Tracked Changes. Any in-text comments will be done accordingly.

  • Feedback Sheet

    I will provide you with a separate document containing my thoughts, observations, and recommendations. Contents will differ depending on the project, but you will always get significant/repetitive issues flagged here, as well as suggestions of ways you can develop the manuscript on a macro or micro level. *Depending on size of manuscript, this feedback can be around 5,000 words or more*
