With over 15 years of experience using VFX and animation software packages professionally, I will complete your VFX pipeline and deliver footage with the desired effects.
These effects can range from VFX compositing to 2D/3D animation pipelines.
VFX compositing:
Integrate live-action footage with computer-generated elements, including tracking, rotoscoping, and matte painting.
Add or remove elements from footage, such as wires, green screens, or rigs.
Enhance or adjust lighting and color to match the rest of the footage.
Paint digital mattes to extend or replace live-action sets.
Work with the director to ensure the final shots meet the vision of the project.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to compositing and rendering.
Animation pipelines:
Conceptualizing and developing visual effects concepts in collaboration with the director, cinematographer, and other members of the creative team.
Creating 3D models, textures, and animations for various elements, such as characters, creatures, environments, and props.
Designing complex procedural animation systems, to efficiency animation numerous objects and create unique effects by combining node-based toolsets and scripting.
Creating and manipulating particle and fluid simulations to simulate natural phenomena, such as fire, smoke, water, and explosions.
Lighting and shading CGI elements to match the lighting and color of the live-action footage.
Rendering and outputting final visual effects shots for use in post-production.
Collaborating with other members of the VFX team, such as VFX supervisors, producers, and coordinators, to ensure that all visual effects are delivered on time and within budget.
I like to plan extensively upfront, to avoid wasted time and inefficiencies. That requires getting on video/phone calls and designing every detail of a custom pipeline for your project.
