About Me

I am a web developer + designer of over 4 years. I have always loved bringing out projects to life with both the design and code together. I always love to give all my attention to a project. I just think there is something invaluable that happens when I handle them both myself. I feel a lot more connected to a project, can make wiser choices along the road as project grows, and it saves quite a bit of time and resources.
I focus on excellent performance and scalability in my coding and great user experience with the right kind of feel in my designs.
I am mostly focusing on frontend side of things. If you want a very fast, top notch backend you might wanna get that done by a backend developer but I can handle a certain good level of backend development too.

My Stack

Svelte + Kit (love)
React + NextJS
TypeScript (JavaScript) (types are essential)
TailwindCSS
Figma + FigJam (design and planning)
DaisyUI (awesome)
Sanity, Payload CMS, Strapi
Material UI (MUI) (quick to start, slow like a turtle advanced development)
shadcn/ui
SCSS (fun but kinda obsolete)
Vanilla CSS
Affinity Designer 2 (for print design and vector work)
Obsidian (if you are into deep research nerding stuff!)

I don't work with:

No-code platforms
Projects made with old tech (I can still help with rewriting/modernizing)

My Approach

I always believe in doing the right thing and not rushing things. Rushing things seems like a necessity sometimes but I believe we should work in a way that we never have to get into that state, with proper planning and making the right decisions.
Every decision to add something in a project is a tradeoff of something else. That's why I believe in a good planning as a first step. Some things are just much more important than others. A few good brainstorming sessions in FigJam can really help determine which ones are and which ones aren't, and save tens of hours of development time.
I believe in collaboration. When I work with a client I know that client has thought of the project quite a bit and has many ideas. I wanna know about all the ideas and the reasonings behind them. That way I can feel the same way as the client. I can also use my expertise better to give insights to the client to make better decisions about things this way. I like to be involved deeply in a project, I think it is better than "give me the job description and I will make it for ya". Because that's when decisions get much better, I get really motivated and the better creative ideas can emerge.
I care a lot about quality. Some may think that I am a perfectionist but it is not true. There is no "perfect" work. All work we make will always be in a state of "could have been better". I work with acknowledging that. What I believe in is "excellent work". I know at what point a design becomes excellent or code becomes scalable, I aim for that.
