Process

Song Production Process
1. Professional Songwriting with Lead Sheet
We start by crafting a professional-level song. If you already have a song, we polish it to perfection. You receive a lead sheet with the melody and chords in music notation, ready for your musicians.
2. Written Music Arrangement
Next, we create the necessary arrangements for your song. Most musicians can perform with just the lead sheet, but we provide specific notations for melodic instruments like violin or trumpet as needed.
3. Sequence-Based Track Production
Depending on the style of your song, some (and in some cases all) of the instruments' tracks can be sequenced with virtual instruments. This will make your song production much more affordable. We have 20 years of experience sequencing and when done right, it's almost impossible to tell the difference between a live recording and a virtual instrument.
4. Live Recording
If you choose to have real live musicians, we can certainly make it happen for you. This will increase the cost of your production because it takes time for the musician and the recording engineer. We will also need to pay the musicians. Nevertheless, this is the preferred method for many artists. We usually want real vocals recorded and you may want to perform in your song. You can choose to visit us in our small studio, or we can provide you with the backing track and you may go to a studio and record it, and we add it to the project. We can also hire a professional singer for your song.
5. Audio Editing
We clean up the recorded tracks, eliminating unwanted noises and ensuring all parts sound coordinated. Vocals are fine-tuned for a tight, neat, and perfectly in-tune performance.
6. Song Mix
All instrument tracks are combined into a cohesive full song. This intricate process results in a stereo audio track.
7. Mastering
The final step is mastering, where we take the stereo mix and enhance it to be release-ready. Your song will sound louder, wider, and professionally polished, suitable for streaming, CD, or vinyl release.

    Professional Songwriting with Lead Sheet. Professional-level songwriting or co-writing. If you already have the song written we will take a look and add some polish, if needed. You will receive a lead sheet with the melody and chords in music notation ready to be shared with your musicians.

  • Written Music Arrangement as needed

    We will write all the parts for instruments or your song if needed. Most musicians only need a lead sheet to perform (usually drums, bass, guitar, etc.). Still, sometimes you want a specific part to be recorded or it is a melodic instrument like a violin or trumpet. If that is the case, we got you covered. We will write the notation paper for you.

  • Master - Stereo song

    The last step is mastering the song. Here we take the stereo mix and polish it. We get it ready for release. It's going to sound louder, wider, and like a record. You can upload this master for streaming or put it on a CD or Vinyl record.
