My work as an AI editor will be to check both the original and translated text, ensure they keep the same meaning and style, and change the translated document, if needed, to make it sound more fluent.

Process

Book introduction: Once we agree on the MTPE plan, I'll be ready to listen to you tak about your story and specific needs. Every book has its peculiarities, and we're going to make sure they are efficiently conveyed in the translation. We're going to tackle your story's narrating voice, the audience you want to reach, and the style you're trying to keep. Any additional details can be discussed here!

Fully reading the original text: I'm going to read your story from start to finish, to have a clear idea of how the plot or the discussion goes, and to make sure the translation is coherent in every chapter of its narration. If I have any additional questions, I'll be sure to ask them before I start translating!

Fully reading the AI-translated text: After that, I will read the translated version made by the AI, and give you my initial thoughts about it.

Comparing the two versions: The original text and its AI-translation will be compared side-by-side, and this is where the magic begins: every sentence will be double checked to make sure no meaning is lost, and that everything is both grammarly correct and nicely fluent to read!

Final proofreading: I will deliver a new document with my annotation on it on it: it will include corrections, suggestions and a final note about how I think I have improved the AI-translated version. You will also be given the clean version of the corrected text, ready to be used for publication!
