About this service

Summary

I am a 3D artist with 2+ years of making models for games. I have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and interior design and I'm able to use my knowledge and the 5 year experience I've gained from designing building in real life to design buildings and environments for video games.

Process

The process starts with consulting with the client and gathering references.
After this the first step is to create a mock-up model in Blender to see general proportions and shapes. Then the detailed model is built, optionally sculpted in ZBrush. After this a low-poly version of the same model is built. This step is for optimization in case the model exceeds the detail limit and will potentially slow the game down. The high-resolution model is baked on the unwrapped UV of the low-poly model and for the final step the textures are created in Substance Painter.
