About this service

Summary

1. Understand client's goals and objectives.
Before I start editing, it is important to have a clear understanding of what my client wants to achieve with their video. What are their goals and objectives? Who is their target audience? What message do they want to convey? Once I have a good understanding of my client's needs, I can start to develop a plan for your edit.
2. Organize footage.
This means creating a rough cut of the video and then arranging the clips in a way that tells a story. I would sometimes use a storyboard or timeline to help me visualize the flow of the video.
3. Edit for clarity and conciseness.
I would check and cut out unnecessary footage. The goal of editing is to create a video that is clear, concise, and to the point.
4. Use transitions effectively.
Transitions can help to connect the clips and create a smooth flow for the video. However, I use transitions sparingly and only when they are necessary. Too many transitions can make the video look choppy and unprofessional.
5. Add music and sound effects.
Music and sound effects can help to create a mood and atmosphere for the video. I can also use this to emphasize certain points or to make the video more engaging.
6. Color correct the footage.
Color correction can help to make the video look more professional and polished. It can also be used to create a certain mood or atmosphere.
7. Add graphics and text overlays.
I add graphics and text overlays that can be used to add information to your video, such as titles, subtitles, and call to actions. They can also be used to create a certain look or style for the video.
8. Get feedback from the client.
Once I have a rough cut of the video, it is important to get feedback from the client. This will help me to ensure that I am on the right track and that I am meeting their needs.
9. Make revisions as needed.
Once I have received feedback from the client, I may need to make some revisions to the video. This is a normal part of the editing process.
10. Export your video in the correct format.
Once I am are happy with the video, I will be exporting it in the correct format for the client. This may be an MP4, MOV, or AVI file.
