• Who owns the intellectual property (codebase) after the project is complete?

  You do. Upon final payment, 100% of the source code, intellectual property, and deployment assets are legally transferred to you. I do not retain any ownership rights to your custom business logic.

• What happens if I need to add features or change the scope mid-project?

  I am flexible. Minor tweaks are often included, but significant new features will be treated as a "Change Order." We will discuss the impact on timeline and budget together before any extra work begins.

• How will I be kept updated on progress? Will I be able to see the work?

  You won't be in the dark. I provide bi-weekly functional demos on a staging link so you can click through the app yourself as it's built. We also have regular sprint reviews to ensure we are perfectly aligned.

• Can you work with or fix my existing application code?

  Yes, provided the codebase is in a maintainable state. I will first perform a code audit to assess the quality and architecture before committing to specific deliverables or timelines.

• How do we handle communication given potential time zone differences?

  I structure my overlap hours to ensure we have at least 2-3 hours of synchronous time daily for meetings or urgent updates. For the rest, I maintain clear, asynchronous updates via Slack/email so work never stalls.

• What if a critical bug appears after the 14-day warranty period?

  We can transition to a retainer agreement or an hourly maintenance contract. I prioritize past clients for urgent fixes to ensure your business continuity is never at risk.

• Will the application be able to handle high traffic as my business grows?

  Absolutely. I design architectures using scalable cloud services (AWS/GCP) and efficient backend logic (Nest.js) specifically so your app can auto-scale to handle thousands of users without crashing.
