AI Workflow Automation Across Tools, with Approvals and RetriesAhmad Muhyidin
Goal: stop retyping requests between tools. Each reaches the right person, gets approved and updates the right record; AI helps from Standard.
Related work: carrier API integrations for an insurance platform and role-based workflows in my own SaaS.
Starter: one trigger and one action between 2 documented systems, up to 5 mapped fields, one role. No AI.
Standard: up to 3 steps across 3 systems, 2 roles, one approval, failure log, one AI step.
Advanced: up to 5 steps, 3 roles, one AI step, review screen, retries, duplicate protection.
The AI step sorts requests, pulls out fields or summarizes, on your model account with a usage limit. A person approves its changes.
Not included: a chat assistant (my AI Assistant service), AI agents using your systems (my MCP Server service), undocumented APIs, bulk migration, reconciliation, maintenance.
Done when:
the agreed cases pass in one environment you own, with source, setup and recovery notes;
from Standard, the AI step passes its test inputs and changes nothing unapproved;
failures reach their owner and can be retried or recovered.
Packages: Starter $300, Standard $850, Advanced $1,600.
