Process

1. Discovery 🧩
Client Meeting: Begin with a meeting to understand the client's vision, goals, target audience, and key functionalities desired in the web application.
Market Research: Conduct research to understand industry trends, competitor products, and target audience preferences.
User research: I conduct user research either based on available data or by leading a discovery workshop.
Definition: Together, we will define the future solution by mapping out the desired user journeys and key features. This phase requires a definition workshop.
2. Definition & Ideation 🎯
Content Audit: If redesigning an existing product, perform a content audit to determine what to keep, modify, or discard.

3. Wireframes (by user journey)​ 🎨
Low-fi: Create low-fidelity wireframes (without text or images) to ensure all functionalities are accounted for.
Mid-fi: Build on the low-fi structure and develop a mid-fidelity version that reflects the user experience (UX), including text but excluding design elements and images.
Hi-fi: Refine the UX mockup by applying the visual identity (UI) and creating all necessary components for inclusion in the design system.
Prototype: Develop interactive prototypes that accurately simulate the user interface and interactions of the web application, providing a realistic preview of the final product.
4. Design system 🧩
Style guide: A detailed documentation of the typography and color schemes used, along with their specific roles within the interface.
Components: A comprehensive list of components (with descriptions for each) used in the interface, organized according to the atomic design methodology.
5. User testing 🧑‍💻
User Testing: Perform user testing with interactive prototypes to gather insights on usability, visual appeal, and overall user experience. Use this feedback to enhance the design.
Iteration: Continuously refine the design in an iterative process, integrating feedback from users and stakeholders to ensure it aligns with both user needs and business objectives.     The design process includes three levels of wireframes: • A low-fidelity wireframe to provide a broad overview of the features for validation. • A mid-fidelity wireframe to validate the user experience. • A high-fidelity wireframe representing the final solution, including the complete UI. (If needed, I can also deliver an interactive prototype showcasing the key interface interactions.)

  • Figma File Transfer ➡️

    Exported Figma file (.fig) with annotations for the developer for an easy transition into web development.

  • Design System 🎨

    It includes all components and styles used, organized according to the atomic design methodology.
