The project began with brainstorming the core message: demonstrating the SUV's capability to scan and analyze surroundings. The SUV model was designed to be sleek and modern, embodying the innovative spirit of Maply Geolytic. I incorporated the company logo prominently on the vehicle to reinforce brand identity.
3D Modeling
Using Autodesk Maya, I crafted a detailed 3D model of the SUV. The model included realistic textures and materials to enhance its visual appeal. The company logo was applied to the side of the vehicle, ensuring it was visible during the animation.
Animation Process
The animation sequence was designed to depict the SUV navigating through various terrains. I created a dynamic path for the vehicle, simulating a journey through urban and rural landscapes. To visualize the scanning functionality, I added a gadget on the roof of the SUV that emits beams to represent data collection from the environment.
Real-Time Data Visualization
To mimic the real-time data aspect, I animated graphical overlays that displayed location details and directional arrows, similar to what users see on navigation apps. This was achieved using Adobe After Effects, where I integrated animated text and icons that appeared as the SUV moved along its path.
