Process

Discovery

Complete my discovery questionnaire. This educates me on your company, it's culture, customers, goals, etc. The CORE section is critical in informing me of the direction to pursue wrt design style, positioning, brand voice and visual identity.

Research

Now that I know who you are and what you are wanting to achieve, I can now begin researching your respective industry to gain an understanding of how your contemporaries look, sound and feel. Strategy

Now that I am informed and inspired, I begin to build out the brand strategy and creative filter. Here the Research & Discovery work comes to the fore as I formulate the identity of your brand, ultimately discovering the direction in which to go.

Brainstorming

The brand statement has been established and the creative filter put in place, now it's time to hit the notepad and begin my conceptual sketching. I then filter these ideas down to the strongest concepts to execute on.

Design Time

In this phase I execute on the design of the sketched concepts and building out the proposal presentation. This is where the brand begins to come to life. Depending on the number of concepts chosen, you will receive your design proposal in 5-8 days.

Revisions

Now it's your turn to provide your feedback, thoughts, suggestions. The nature of my proposal allows you to take mix-n-match from multiple concepts and request versions that you may want to see. I will then design and deliver in 1-2 days.

Finalizing

After the necessary rounds of tweaks, we will finalize the branding. I then send the final logo in various formats and sizes as well as the fonts, favicon and updated branding doc with color palette breakdown and visual language. This takes 1 day.

ADD-ONS?

It is not included in the project cost, but if you would like to have your corporate stationery and/or an official brand style guide created, then that can be discussed now, and a fee agreed upon.

What's included

Logo & Brand Design
Your brand extends far beyond your logo, but this is often your first chance at an impression. Having a flexible system of logos at the ready is essential for any successful brand, big or small. This includes, but isn't limited to: + Primary Logo + 1-2 Secondary Logos or Sub-Marks + Social media profile images. During the design phase you get: > 2 concepts for the logo + accompanying brand > 2 rounds of revisions included in this phase to the chosen concept
Color Palette
Color helps with brand recognition. I'll create a customized color palette that is unique to your brand and will be clearly defined within your brand book. You'll be able to use these colors moving forward to help with consistency across all platforms.
Typography
Using specific fonts for your brand helps with consistency. These will be outlined in your brand book.
Brand Collateral
This phase varies from project to project, as everyone's needs are different. We'll uncover what's needed at the start of the project so that you have what you need to take your new brand and hit the ground running. In this package I include 1 deliverable designed using the newly built brand. This could include, but isn't limited to: + Business cards + Social media graphics + Brochures/handouts + Posters + etc.*
Custom Branded Pattern (if applicable)
A pattern that can be used for a whole number of applications throughout your brand. Think custom packaging, social media, branded merch, etc.
Source files, and requested file formats
The "Master" file and whatever other formats you require.
