FAQs
What file formats and resolutions do you accept for color grading?
For 3D animation, I accept .JPG .PNG. sequences and .MP4 .MOV video formats, however it is highly recommended to utilize raw files. ".EXR" files provides the most flexibility for post production. For Film, .MP4 and .MOV can pass, but for raw files, .BRAW, and .R3D are recommended.
What's included
Color Conversion
In order to faithfully capture the intended colors, it is crucial to consider the camera model, camera profile, and any relevant data from either a camera or CG file. These pieces of information play a vital role in correctly configuring the footage into a legible format during post-production. Our primary goal is to achieve utmost accuracy in color representation.
Color Correction
The role of color correction is essential in establishing a solid foundation for color grading. This process entails rectifying any color imbalances, fine-tuning brightness and contrast, and ensuring uniform color reproduction throughout various shots or scenes. By addressing these aspects, we can effectively build upon a reliable and consistent color grading framework.
