About this service

Summary

I offer the installation and configuration of a self-hosted Linux server with Cloudflare integration, allowing clients to securely access their applications from anywhere using their own domain. This solution provides full data security, exclusive hardware processing, and zero monthly fees. Unlike cloud-based alternatives, your server runs entirely on your own machine, ensuring maximum control and performance.

Process

Server Preparation – A fresh Linux installation (Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04) is set up.
Cloudflare & Domain Configuration – Your domain is linked for secure remote access
Portainer Installation – A user-friendly interface for managing containers is deployed.
Security & Optimization – Firewall settings and performance tweaks are applied.
Application Deployment – Up to 5 selected applications are installed and configured.
Testing & Handover – Final adjustments are made, and you receive access credentials.

FAQs

  • What do I need before getting started?

You need to have a pre-purchased domain and a VPS or dedicated server with Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 installed. The server should be fresh (empty) to avoid conflicts

  • Can I add more than 5 applications?

Yes! The default package includes up to 5 applications. If you need more, I can provide a custom quote based on your needs.

  • Will my data be secure?

Absolutely! Your server runs locally (on your own hardware), meaning your data is stored and processed only by you, without third-party interference.

  • Do I need to pay any monthly fees?

No. This solution eliminates the need for ongoing payments to cloud providers. Once set up, your system runs independently on your hardware.

  • How long does the setup take?

The full installation typically takes between 24 to 72 hours, depending on the complexity and the number of applications installed.

What's included

  • Cloudflare Setup & Domain Configuration

Installation and configuration of Cloudflare with the client’s domain (must be pre-purchased) to enable secure remote access to their self-hosted applications, whether at home, in an office, or a business environment.

  • Secure & Dedicated Server Environment

Complete security setup to protect client data, ensuring that all processing is performed exclusively on their own hardware—without shared resources or performance competition.

  • Linux Server Preparation (with external SSH access)

Linux environment (Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04) optimized for receiving additional configurations and containerized applications. Requirements To use this setup, the client must provide a fresh, empty server, as the installation process involves multiple configurations that may conflict with existing applications. If the server already contains third-party software (not installed by our setup), they may stop working. Minimum Server Requirements: Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 4GB RAM 2 vCPUs Recommended Server Specifications (for optimal performance): 8GB RAM 4 vCPUs

  • Portainer Installation & Docker Access Setup

Deployment of Portainer for easy container management and configuration of external access to Dockerized applications.
