Summary

This service is meant to encompass all the aspects of presentation design *before* you get on-site. This includes meetings (any kind), initial design, revisions, animations, quick turnarounds, weekend work, late nights, and work up until your event deadline.

Process

Step 1: Kickoff
Usually, I like to have a kickoff call about ~2-3 months before your event date. This gives us the time to talk about your needs, the event itself, your goals, your team, etc. All the nitty gritty I need to know before jumping into design.
Step 2: Strawman
In the kickoff, we will discuss and agree to a rough timeline including when I will receive strawman decks (blank presentations where you've dropped in the info you want and the order it goes in. Doesn't necessarily need to be a presentation but a document of some kind that informs what I will be designing). Once I receive these, the real fun begins.
Step 3: Design and Animation
Once I have the strawman decks, depending on our agreed timeline, I will return V1 to you by the agreed upon date. At this point, revisions are expected to begin as content tightens up and we figure out what is necessary to keep and what is not. We will continue the revisions process until you are satisfied. Once design is ~80-90% finalized, I will add in animation touches (if desired) then...
Step 4: Showtime!
Once the design and animations are finalized, I will hand the final files to your team to do with as you see fit. On-site or virtual support for the days of rehearsals/actual event days are available to add if so desired. Otherwise, your event is off to the races and I wish you the best of luck!

  • What if I don't need 150 hours of pre-event support?

    I'm definitely open to discussion on this. 150 hours is generally speaking the amount that is the safest in my experience to account for everything that could happen prior to an event. I have rarely (if ever) gone over this amount of hours.
