In the first stage of my process, I have a quick conversation with the client to see what they are hoping to get. This is usually just a back and forth through text where we determine the outcome we are working towards. At this point, I will ask the client for any references or ideas they like and want to see represented in the final product.
Following this first meeting, I will begin to work on the project and develop multiple iterations towards a final flyer. Once I have created a flyer that I feel meets the clients needs and expectations, I will send them a working version so that I can receive feedback.
After getting client feedback, I will tweak my design to fit any concerns the client raised during the revision meeting. At this point, I will send them a revised version.
I will ask the client to double check the flyer and make sure they are happy with everything. At this point, if there are no concerns and the client is happy the project will be considered finished. If the client raises concerns there will be one final round of revisions for minor changes.
