A well-designed journal should do more than look good, it should be practical, easy to use, and enjoyable for the people who write in it. I design custom journal interiors that combine clean layouts, thoughtful organization, and a user-friendly experience while meeting professional publishing standards.
I create a wide range of journal interiors, including daily journals, planners, guided journals, gratitude journals, wellness journals, fitness journals, travel journals, logbooks, workbooks, notebooks, and other custom layouts. Every project is designed around the purpose of the journal and the audience it is created for.
My design process starts by understanding your vision, goals, and publishing requirements. From there, I carefully plan the page structure, typography, spacing, margins, writing areas, trackers, tables, icons, and visual hierarchy to ensure every page is clean, balanced, and easy to use. I pay close attention to readability, consistency, print specifications, and the overall user experience so the final product feels professional from the first page to the last.
I primarily use Adobe InDesign to build structured and publication-ready layouts, while Adobe Illustrator is used for custom icons, graphics, and design elements. Adobe Photoshop helps me prepare and optimize images whenever they are needed. This workflow allows me to deliver organized, high-quality files that are ready for both print and digital publishing.
Over the years, I have worked with authors, publishers, and self-publishing clients on platforms like Upwork and Fiverr, designing professional book and journal interiors for a variety of publishing projects. That experience has helped me understand what readers expect and what publishing platforms require, allowing me to create layouts that are both visually appealing and technically accurate.
Whether you already have a clear concept or only an initial idea, I can help transform it into a clean, functional, and publication-ready journal interior. My goal is always to deliver a design that reflects your vision while providing an excellent writing experience for your readers.
