Tech Packs A detailed, accurate tech pack allows you to:

1. Send it out to multiple factories to get reference costs and compare

2. Have a back- up in case a factory ghosts you (happens more than you might think)

3. Really think through all the aspects of your garment and make sure it gets made right

4. It acts as a record of any changes or fittings so you can always refer back to it

5. Flat sketches and diagrams give a clear vision of what's in your head and allow the factory make the garment right

6. Acts as contract so that there is no confusion on the yarns or trims that they should use
