Can retainers be paused or changed?
Retainers provide dedicated access and priority. They can typically be adjusted or paused with a 30-day notice, allowing me to effectively to manage capacity and reassign fractional leadership time where applicable.
Why is the pricing fixed rather than hourly?
Fixed pricing ensures clients know the exact cost and outcome upfront, eliminating budget uncertainty and showcasing my expertise and efficiency in delivering repeatable results quickly.
What happens if the scope changes dramatically mid-project?
Fixed-price products have strict, defined deliverables. If a client requests work that falls outside the defined scope, we will pause the current project and transition to an hourly consulting rate for the custom architectural design or scope expansion.
Do you do any discounts?
Yes! I offer equitable pricing discounts for nonprofits (501(c)(3)), groups led by or servicing systemically barred groups, and/or creative professionals where applicable. Please mention this ASAP so I can keep that in mind when providing a final price.
How are payment and contracts handled?
All projects and retainers use standard NET 15 or NET 30 payment terms, managed through this Contra platform. To ensure timely payment, contracts include provisions for a 1.5% late fee and immediate work stoppage if payment is late.
