⛤ Summary ⛤
What's included in a Fiction Manuscript Evaluation: It's a 10-20 page assessment that consists of a full and thorough read of your completed manuscript, including specific suggestions about the writing (ie. in what best storytelling top, story, character arcs, strong subplots, the audience to consider and genre appeal (if applicable), and overall ideas for improvement.
This is NOT typical edit that involves grammar and spelling not a developmental edit that is designed to tighten up an already finished draft -- a Fiction Manuscript Evaluation is designed to lead you in the right direction when working on your next draft, using craft expertise and chapter by chapter analysis to help you map out what your project to be the strongest it's ever been.
Price quotes are dependent on the word length of the manuscript at the time of the project request. The price quote will then be listed on a sliding scale.
FOR EXAMPLE:
Since the length of your first novel draft is over 100K words and is in my specialized field of fiction, I'd quote the pricing at this:
Fiction Manuscript Evaluation Package: $500 - $700. I'd expect a 50% deposit upfront. Completion of the project would take 1 month upon receiving the project down payment and will be updated weekly via email.
MORE INFORMATION:
The pricing is on a sliding scale so you may choose whatever option is most affordable to you and your own needs. However, If you opt to pay $550 or higher, I'd be able to provide you with: track changes annotations on your draft document along with a page full of recommended resources such as books, videos, podcasts, important research materials, where to find sensitive readers, etc -- essentially whatever you need to strengthen your writing long after the manuscript evaluation is finished.
Please let me know if you have any questions or specific accommodations you'd like for me to keep in mind as we complete this project.
