I will read and evaluate your manuscript. This involves providing in-depth feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of your manuscript (and explanations on how to fix them). The main goal is to provide the reader with a great story.
Manuscript evaluations are part of the early publishing stages, before any in-depth editing or proofreading is done. I have prior experience with manuscript evaluations. In those cases, the evaluations included a chapter-by-chapter breakdown, and a general summary for the overall story.
If you have a collection of short stories to be evaluated, then each story will receive separate evaluations.

What's included

The Evaluation
At the end of the project, you'll receive my evaluation of your manuscript. This will be a PDF file. In it, I'll explain two things: 1. the strengths of your manuscript (i.e., which parts are well-written and why) 2. the weaknesses of your manuscript (i.e., which parts need edited and why).
FAQs
Story elements that will be evaluated include (but are not limited to): characters, plot (and plot holes), "show, don't tell," structure, consistency, conflict, theme, worldbuilding, dialogue, and style. I'll point out specific sections that need edited (and explain why).
This does not involve me doing any kind of proofreading, writing, editing, or revisions. I am simply providing feedback on how you can improve your story. The main goal is to provide the reader with an excellent story.
