Research and Analysis
The study phase involves research and analysis to establish a brand strategy that will be translated into a visual identity. During this stage, we conduct:
Analysis of the current situation
Competitor analysis
Benchmarking and Competitive mapping
Study of the target audience
Visual research
Recommendations and suggestions
Conception
Following our in-depth analysis of the objectives and recommendations, we will proceed to the design phase by creating two distinct mood boards. These mood boards will be carefully crafted to visually represent two different creative directions, each aligned with the recommendations established during our initial analysis.
Once these mood boards are completed and a proposal of directions is prepared, we will schedule a new meeting to present our work up to this stage. This step will allow the client to concretely visualize the proposed creative directions.
The client will then have the opportunity to select one of the presented creative directions. This decision will guide the rest of the creative process, allowing us to focus our efforts on the development and detailed elaboration of the chosen visual identity
Design
In this section, I will delve into the detailed development of the chosen visual identity for the project. After selecting the most relevant direction, I will elaborate on the key elements that will constitute this identity:
Logo and Variations: I will intricately design the primary logo and create different variations for its optimal use in various contexts. This will include adaptations for different platforms and sizes, ensuring consistency and readability across all formats.
Color Palette and Applications: A distinctive color palette will be developed, detailing shades, combinations, and specific applications to ensure visual harmony. This palette will be adapted for various uses, both digital and physical.
Typography and Usage: I will select typefaces suited to the brand's visual identity and define their specific usage for different content. This will ensure consistency in written communication.
An initial proposal will be submitted to the client for review and feedback. Based on this initial feedback, revisions will be made according to specific requests. This process will continue until the client approves.
Once the visual identity is approved, I will then develop the brand's style guide. This will include detailed guidelines on the use of visual elements in both digital and print communication. This step will create visual coherence and ensure a consistent and impactful representation of the brand across all mediums
