You tell me your desired visual results and the story you have in mind

I generate a storyboard

I make case studies of the different shots of the story board to get a feel of what we'd be aiming for.

I proceed to creating all the shots that were approved from the case studies.

Once that is done I move to getting the sound done and finalize the video creation.
