My definition of "brand" is simple. It's what your customers think about your business. The strongest brands are able to control the demand for their product. They dictate how much they sell, when they sell it, and how much they sell it for by using levers like scarcity and urgency with their followers.
Defining "brand" and recognizing the businesses that have done it well—Apple, Rolex, and Hermes for a few—is one thing. Building a strong brand is another. Unwavering commitment to consistent messaging and a quality customer experience is the key to building a strong brand for your business, and that begins with the customer journey.
During our consultation, we'll obsess over your customer journey and find the points that could use support to help improve the customer experience. This will make your business more efficient in engaging and communicating with customers, and it's the first step to being able to control your brand and show how your product or service solves the challenges they're facing.
This is a look at what we could talk about:
Discovery: I'll take you through my brand questionnaire, learning about your business, your offers, your customers, the goals you have, and anything else that could come up in our immediate future. I'll come out of this with questions, and if I see any big bucket items missing off the top, I'll mention them.
Customer Journey: I'll ask you to take me through your current customer journey. If your business includes wholesale and distribution, or if you sell strictly DTC e-commerce, this will look different for most businesses. For a DTC e-commerce brand, it may look like starting with any advertising or events, influencers or ambassadors, to your social media, to the homepage of your website, to a product page, to product content, to checkout, and the email flows throughout the journey.
What you can expect to get out of this:
One call will be enough to flag some problem areas.
Monthly calls will provide more opportunities for growth with feedback as you scale.
Biweekly calls will allow me more time to work with your team and grow efficiencies internally.
Weekly calls will be necessary only for those businesses that have an immediate goal (revenue, or otherwise) and are looking for the quickest feedback to get there.
You can walk away with the information I've shared with you—the documents I have and the notes I've taken—at any time. No problem!
But I'm not going to hide it. This usually isn't just one call.
I don't want you to think I'm roping you into something. I'm just here to help. In full transparency, my goal is always to build a relationship of trust and deeply partner with my clients to give them the greatest results I can. That usually looks like an ongoing connection as your business scales, and I'm happy to accommodate.
