Clean sound can make or break a project — and I’m here to make sure you never have to worry about it on set.
I show up with my full professional sound kit and handle everything from mic placement to level monitoring so your audio stays consistent, clean, and reliable throughout the entire shoot. Whether you need a boom operator, wireless lav setup, or a simple, streamlined capture for a small production, I’ve got you covered.
As a filmmaker and sound designer, I understand how crucial production audio is in post. I record in high-quality 32-bit floating WAV, manage multi-channel setups, troubleshoot noise issues, and keep the sound flowing smoothly so your DIT and editor get clean, organized files — ready to drop into the timeline.
For small shoots without a DIT, I can also upload your files to Dropbox and ensure your team has everything they need.

What's included

On-Set Sound Setup & Mic Placement
I’ll arrive on set with my full sound kit, set up all necessary microphones, place lavs professionally, adjust for clothing noise, and make talent feel comfortable during the process. I’ll run frequency checks, test levels, and ensure everything is ready before cameras roll.
Live Mixing & Boom Operation
Throughout the shoot, I’ll monitor levels, mix in real time, and provide clean, consistent audio. I can operate boom myself or hire a dedicated boom operator if your production needs one. I actively watch for noise issues, adjust mic placement as needed, and make sure every take is usable.
High-Quality Audio File Deliver
At wrap, I’ll deliver organized, multi-channel 32-bit WAV files from my field recorder. Files can be handed directly to your DIT or, for smaller productions, I can upload everything to Dropbox or Drive. Equipment is included unless specific rentals are requested.
FAQs
For smaller productions, yes. For larger setups or heavy movement shots, I recommend adding a dedicated boom operator — I can hire one for you, but you will need a larger budget.
A Zoom F6 field recorder (32-bit floating WAV), Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun mic with boom pole, Sennheiser G4 wireless receivers/transmitters, and Sennheiser ME2 lavaliers.
This service covers recording only. If you need noise reduction, dialogue cleanup, or a full post mix, I offer those on a separate service page.
Either handed directly to your DIT from my SD card or uploaded to Dropbox/Drive if you’re a small crew without a DIT.
Yes — simple sound notes can be added as an optional deliverable for an additional fee.
