Process

Phase 1: Assessment & Analysis
Project Kick-off: An initial meeting to discuss your goals, objectives, project scope, and timelines. I'll clarify expectations and answer your questions. We'll also agree on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Comprehensive UX Audit: I will thoroughly analyze your existing web application's user experience, identifying usability issues, pain points, and areas for improvement. This includes heuristic evaluation, best-practice benchmarking, and competitive analysis (where relevant). I will document our findings with detailed reports and screenshots.
Usability Testing(Optional, Recommended): Let's collaborate to ensure the success of your usability testing. You'll recruit participants, and I'll provide support and guidance to ensure you select the right users. I'll then conduct the testing, providing you with video recordings and a comprehensive report of our findings.
Phase 2: Strategy & Design
UX Strategy Report: A comprehensive report detailing our findings from the audit and usability testing. This report clearly articulates:
Key usability issues and their severity (prioritized).
User needs and expectations.
Opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Prioritized recommendations and a strategic roadmap for implementation (including timelines and estimated effort). This will serve as the foundation for the design phase.
Interactive Wireframes (Figma): Based on the UX Strategy Report, we'll create interactive wireframes in Figma, visualizing the proposed solutions and allowing for early feedback and iteration. We'll share these wireframes with you for review and input.
High-Fidelity Interactive Prototype (Figma): A polished interactive prototype in Figma showcases the enhanced user experience, enabling stakeholders and users to experience the proposed solutions before development begins. This includes visual design elements for a realistic representation of the final product. We'll facilitate review sessions to gather feedback and iterate on the prototype.
Deliverable Handoff: You will receive the Figma design file and a comprehensive document that provides developers with all the necessary information for implementation.  This includes annotated designs, detailed UI specifications (e.g., styles, components, interactions), logic flow diagrams, and any relevant technical considerations. This ensures a smooth handoff to the development team.
Phase 3: Project Support
Project Support: We can provide ongoing support during the development phase, ensuring the design is implemented faithfully and effectively. This might include answering questions and providing clarifications.
