The modern data stack is a suite of tools used for data integration and analysis. These tools include, in order of how the data flows:
a data extraction tool, such as Fivetran on the fully-managed end of the spectrum or Airbyte on the open source side
a cloud-based columnar warehouse or data lake as a destination. Think Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks
a data transformation tool - I specialize in dbt
a business intelligence or data visualization platform. I am a Looker Guru but have experience with Tableau, Mode, Redash, and others
