About this service

Summary

Julie crafts comprehensive digital marketing strategies on Pinterest, leveraging her Pinterest Media Buyer Certification and decade-long expertise. She focuses on increasing outbound qualified traffic and ROAS through targeted ads and organic content placement via SEO (Search Engine Optimization). She doesn't focus on any other channel/platform and doesn't run a large agency--it's just a one-person shop... with 2 cats.

Process

I will send you a contract to review and e-sign.
Then, you'll receive the invoice for the first month of services, paid before onboarding begins
My monthly fee is lower from Q1-Q3, then it becomes higher during Q4
Q1-Q3: $1250/mo (USD) Q4: $1550/mo (USD)
Each monthly invoice is sent on the 1st of the month with payment due by the 5th before late fees kick in
You'll receive either an onboarding form or a short list of instructions requesting specific deliverables to help me get started on your account
Usually, during the first 1-1.5 months the clients and I benefit from having bi-weekly calls so we're making this onboarding process smooth. After that, we can revert back to a normal monthly cadence
We'll get on a Slack channel, where I will update you pretty frequently (with a lot of overcommunication since we're working asynchronously)
The onboarding process can take 2-3 weeks with the intention of launching the first batch of campaigns by week 3-4.
Each campaign needs about 2 weeks to learn the most optimal delivery for the best performance. During this time, I can't adjust any spend nor change any configurations
After the learning phase is in flow, I apply optimizations, test and observe ongoingly
When I come across new information that has come to light, I will request things like different types of creatives, ask questions about upcoming sales and photoshoots, etc.
The idea here is that we work in rhythm with each other to grow the outbound traffic from all parts of the funnel and build out a solid pipeline for conversions.

FAQs

  • What kind of clients have you worked with?

My clients have offerings in the following verticals: pet fashion, merino wool clothing, souvenir gifts, pregnancy care, home decor, home renovation, themed pop-up events for children, womens' wellness. A majority of these clients came to me after having disappointing experiences with agencies that claimed to have had as much expertise with Pinterest as they did with Meta and Google Ads. Pinterest is clearly a different beast.

What's included

  • Ongoing Pinterest SEO Database Growth

I'll be cross-referencing search trends, level of search competition and competitors' strategies to grow and maintain a full deck of keywords you can use outside of the Pinterest platform

  • Bi-Weekly Calls with Your Pinterest Account Manager

Pinterest has in-house account managers who can provide beta access to new features. While they're hit or miss with experience and quality of service, it's up to me to vet them out, learn what they're suggesting and bridge the gap between that and where your boundaries are with adspend

  • Weekly Pinterest Ad KPI Data Analysis Reports

I'm always studying your KPIs and deepening the relationship to the numbers so I can quickly identify if something needs attention. Each Friday, I send an in-depth viz with graphs and tables for quick reference on where your campaign health is at

  • SEO-Optimizing Your Campaigns and Ad Creatives

When you or your design team send over the ad creatives, I then produce the ad pin titles, descriptions and hand-pick the right targeting so your site receives qualified traffic to move through the funnel. Usually, I send the copy over for your review during the first month and afterwards my clients give me the go-ahead to handle future SEO-optimizing on my own.

  • Monthly 30-Minute Catch-Up Call

Aside from communicating asynchronously on Slack (and using its voice and screenflow tools), you have the option to chat with me in real-time via Zoom or Google Meets once a month for 30 minutes. This is a great way to stay connected, face-to-face, so we can continue to strengthen our partnership.

  • Adspend Proposal

Each quarter, or each month, I go over a suggested amount of adspend per campaign based on your available budget. If there are certain times of the year with high auction pressure (i.e. BFCM and most of Q4), I will naturally recommend a higher budget than the months with lower auction pressure. These may or may not be in line with what Pinterest's account managers recommend because I'm focused on where your boundaries are.
