We've had to take online classes and, since the pandemic, nearly everything else (including meetings) is online. It can be frustrating to have to repeatedly ask if one can be heard or to sit and wait while the facilitator switches from screen to screen and fumbles amongst the hundreds of tabs they have open. But there is a better way, and it's a solution in-person classrooms have always harnessed: a teacher's assistant! That's me: your online teacher's assistant. Behind-the-scenes assistant
At school, your teacher may have a teacher's assistant. That's what this role is: you're the teacher, and I'll be your assistant. Whether you're running a one-time online training or a weekly training for a season, I can offer real-time assistance to you and your students, screening questions, dropping files or links, and even double-checking the content of your slideshows. (If you're the kind of trainer who spontaneously does breakout rooms, drop me a private message in the chat and I'll get to it while you keep teaching.)
Online Course Rehearsal
Whatever your teaching and for however many participants, we'll run a rehearsal from 10-40 minutes. Together we'll check for any redundancies, make sure the A/V is clear, and that none of the links or files are broken. In other words, we'll dot every I and cross every T.
