About this service

Summary

Message-testing makes sure you put your most effective foot forward before you start a new campaign, as your competitive and media environment shift, or when your audience expectations change.
I have conducted message-testing research across dozens of clients and industries using methods customized to the client and their audience. These findings are the foundation to becoming a leader in the conversations that matter to your brand.

Process

1) Connect on the reason for the message testing and its connection to the brand's overall communication goals and strategy.
2) Outline the main audiences and suggested messaging.
3) Develop a research plan, including draft questionnaires and methodology outlines. These will be discussed and finalized with the client team.
4) Data collection, which may include a soft launch of survey instruments and similar test phases to get initial feedback on the suggested messaging.
5) Full data collection, testing final messaging with in-field updates to the client.
6) Data analysis, with an optional flash report available for tight timelines and mission-critical decision making.
7) Report delivery and readout, with optional workshops for communication staff to become informed on the process and the recommendations, as well as to understand its short- and long-term implications for their roles.
