Some products don't need a designer to hand off screens. They need someone to sit with the team, understand the vision, challenge the direction when the data says to, and stay until it works.
I come in at any stage and become your design lead. That means joining stakeholder calls, understanding your business goals alongside your users' reality, and helping build a product that makes sense to both. I run research and validation studies, design and iterate based on real feedback, work directly with engineers on what's feasible, and collaborate with the PM to phase work into a roadmap that holds up. I also have a seat in the release process, reviewing builds before they go out, ensuring correct implementation of the desired experience.
This is a long-term engagement. The goal isn't a deliverable. It's a product that users genuinely understand and want to come back to.
What's included:
Discovery and alignment sessions with founders, PM and business strategy
Idea and concept validation through prototype testing with real users
UX design and iteration aligned to the product roadmap
Direct collaboration with engineers to bridge design and implementation
Roadmap input — phasing new work based on priority, feasibility and user feedback
QA support and release review before builds go out
Continuous loop between user research and product decisions
