You've got a category-defining idea. Nobody gets it yet. That changes in 4 weeks.
This is for pre-launch founders who need to go from nothing tangible to something they can raise with, sell with and build from. Brand, product design, pitch deck, website design. The full picture.
Most founders I work with at this stage have been stuck for months. They've tried agencies, freelancers, maybe even done it themselves. The idea is strong but nothing they've produced communicates it properly. People just don't get it.
Most people come to me with a prescriptive brief. But I'm more interested in understanding the actual issue, so I can find the real bottleneck. Sometimes that's the brand. Sometimes it's the product experience. Sometimes it's the story they're telling investors.
This service covers design and strategy. Website development (Framer/Webflow build) can be added separately.
How it works:
Week 1: Strategy + Narrative. You'll start with what I call a brain transfer: around 20 questions, pulled from a bank of 75 I've refined over 15 years. It's designed to uncover the assumptions you're making, the road you've already travelled and where you're trying to get to. By the time we kick off, I already know the lay of the land. From there, we get to the core of what you're building and who it's for. I distill the idea into a story that lands in seconds, not minutes. This becomes the foundation for everything.
Week 2: Brand + Product Design. I work in deep, focused sprints with tight feedback loops. Visual identity, product UX and UI designed in Figma. If you need a prototype to test with users or demo to investors, we build it here. You see progress daily, not at the end.
"He has always gone above and beyond in suggesting ways we can strengthen our product, rather than just delivering on a basic brief." — Lyz Swanton, Co-Founder, Feedr
Week 3: Pitch Deck + Website Design. A pitch deck that tells your story without you in the room. A website designed to make you look like the company you're building, not the startup you are today.
Week 4: Iteration + Handoff. We refine everything based on feedback and hand you a complete design toolkit to go to market. Need the site built too? We can add development as a separate scope.
"Dan transformed our idea into a fully realised app in just 21 days. He brought clarity to the chaos and helped us get to launch far faster than we thought possible." — Alex Templeton, Qured
Everything is delivered so you can carry on without me, or flow straight into a retainer. My average client relationship runs 18 months across 3 projects. Some have stayed for 10 years.
I've taken Everclime from a year of confusion to closed deals. Styloop from stuck for a year to investor-ready in weeks. Jude from a garden shed to the UK's largest female-founded pre-seed raise.
