About this service

Summary

I'm an Emmy Award-winning video editor in Manhattan, NYC, the #1 television industry in the world. I have the equipment to edit video and mix audio properly, as opposed to "editors" and "mixers" who rely on their MacBook Pro speakers, or even worse, headphones. I have Gigabit Fiber-Optic internet (1,000 Mbps upload / 1,000 Mbps download) so I can perform Supervised Edits for several clients simultaneously via Zoom with no loss of quality. Also, I can upload files to the Network from here instead of needing to send them back to the client to utilize whatever internet service they have.

Process

I am sent video and audio files on SSD drives or via the internet.

I watch all of the raw footage and come up with the flow of the program.

I utilize Frame.io to receive revisions and approvals from clients.

I receive graphics and whatever else from other team members.

I perform my own QC (quality control)

I upload final deliverables either directly to the Network or back to the client.

Embedded Audio
Embedded audio delivered to Spec for whichever Network, such as - Full Mix Left - Full Mix Right - Mix minus M&E (music and effects)
Individual (mono) Audio Channels
- Full Mix Left - Full Mix Right - Music Left - Music Right - Effects Left - Effects Right - Dialogue - Narration - M&E (music and effects) - Mix minus Narration etc, depending on what the Network Spec happens to be.
5.1 Audio Mix
- Left - Right - Center - LFE (low frequency effects, lowpassed at 120 Hz for 24dB/octave) - Surround Left - Surround Right
