Process

Phase 1 : Discovery & Briefing We kick things off with a short call or a written brief where we define what you need: – Where will the illustrations be used (website, app, social, editorial, etc.)? – What’s the message or story they should tell? – Any existing brand guidelines, tone, or visual references? This helps align expectations and gives me a clear direction before sketching anything.

Phase 2 : Style Exploration (if needed) If you don’t already have a defined style, I’ll put together a small moodboard or quick samples to explore visual directions — from flat design to textured, isometric, or hand-drawn. You’ll choose the vibe that feels most on-brand.

Phase 3 : Concept Sketches I’ll create rough sketches or wireframes for each illustration. This is the part where we nail down layout, composition, and narrative without getting lost in details. You’ll review and give feedback before we move forward.

Phase 4 : First Draft Illustrations Once the sketches are approved, I move on to detailed illustrations in your chosen style. Colors, shapes, and visual polish come together here. You’ll get a first draft to review and share your feedback.

Phase 5 : Revisions You’ll have a round (or two) of revisions to tweak anything — layout adjustments, color changes, or small details — until it feels just right. I always aim to keep things smooth and collaborative.

Phase 6 : Final Delivery Once everything’s approved, I’ll package and deliver: – Final illustrations in multiple formats and sizes – Source files (if included) – Style guide or documentation (if part of the scope) – Optional implementation notes or dev-ready assets
