Conducting in-depth UX audits to identify potential improvements and recommend changes to increase client revenue through better user experience alignment.

Process

There would be a 5 step process involved in auditing, 1. Defining and understanding the audit's objective, understanding the user's feedback directly with stakeholders, and aligning them with the business goals. 2. Conducting the testing against 10 usability principles. 3. Analysing navigations and user flows, assess the app or website's information architecture (IA) for clarity, consistency, and ease of navigation. While testing the user flows, it is easier to observe and analyze visuals and accessibility.
4. Then test based on the performance and usability. This can also happen in the initial steps if the website or app doesn't respond while operating. 5. Now, that we have all our findings, I share an audit report with a roadmap for improvements.

    Provision of a document with an in-depth overview of the audit process and the findings of the audit process. Overview includes, 1. Executive Summary - An overview of why the audit was conducted and its key findings and recommendations. 2. Audit Scope and Methodology 3. Testing based on 10 usability methods And all the other deliverables.

  • User flow Analysis

    Outlining main tasks and identifying interruptions and challenges in each task flow. Proposing solutions to streamline user journeys and improve task completion rates.

  • Navigation and Information Architecture (IA)

    Reviewing clarity, and consistency and noting any complexity or redundancy. Suggest reorganizing or renaming navigation elements for improved discoverability.

  • Accessibility Review

    Review accessibility guidelines for compliance.

  • Visual Design and Brand Consistency

    Analyze and suggest the design's visual appeal and alignment with the brand identity.

  • Performance and technical usability

    Provide technical suggestions like reviewing loading speeds, and animations on various devices.
