I offer survey creation services. I’m a detail oriented person and I like to take surveys myself when they relate to something that interests me. I have experience in research and marketing so I know what questions to ask when trying to gather data to then analyze.

1) Meet with the client.

2) Ask exactly what it is they are tying to find out/research.

3) Bullet point key words that will be part of the survey.

4) Begin drafting survey by asking for demographic information (age/age range, gender, race/ethnic background, location, level of education, profession and/or salary, etc.).

5) Think of close-ended questions based on what the goal of the project is. 6) Ask general questions first and narrow down the questions as the survey progresses. 7) Proofread my work and check for potential biases or weaknesses in the survey.

8) Imagine that I am taking the survey and ask myself if the questions make sense and if they are sure to yield a response.

9) Tweak anything that needs to be tweaked.

10) End survey with open-ended questions that ask the audience for additional comments or thoughts in case the rest of the survey failed to capture something.
