One of my favorite things to do is to take designs, illustrations or paintings that I personally like and bringing them to life. The process of taking original artwork apart, repainting parts of it and then animating everything makes me understand and appreciate the artist's work and approach and I usually also learn a thing or two along the way in terms of animation techniques. The possibilities for animated illustrations and especially the amount of work that goes into one animation, depend on a few technical aspects:
- What file type does the original design come in?
- What is the original art style?
- What other technical restrictions are there for me to work around?
Therefore the pricing can vary quite a bit. Which is why I would like to ask you to contact me for any details regarding the cost of your design.
Of course you can, if you want to! I am always happy to listen to your vision and brainstorm ideas before I get started. And then I will give you my honest opinion on whether or not I think your ideas are executable and/or would look interesting in the end.
You definitely can (and I will too)! I can deliver a variety of different formats for all kinds of platforms for you to post and share to. All I ask you is to please add my credit on your channels – I will let you know how once I deliver the final animations.
Yes I can. It will add to the work and therefore raise the price (again: this can be discussed individually), but I am happy to add sound design to the final animation. I will make sure to only use audio that is free to use and under the Creative Commons license.
