Summary

I'll either shape your unique story into a biographical ebook, or write on a topic that is aligned with your work. As an experienced journalist and author, I'll get to the essence of your story through interviews and research, then generate copy that engages your audience and boosts your visibility. As a longtime designer, I'll also provide a compelling cover design.

I have deep experience in food and hospitality, but I get excited about entrepreneurs and creators from all backgrounds. I don't think I've ever met someone whose story hasn't fascinated me, and that enthusiasm comes through in the book.

Process

When we start working together, I'll send an intake form to learn about your voice, ideas, and visual preferences. Then, if the ebook is biographical, we'll start the project with a few video interviews so that I can learn about your life and work. If the book is informational, I'll begin research on the topic.

Then, I'll send an outline for your approval, followed by a rough draft of the book as well as three possible cover designs. Any revisions will be turned around within a week, and after two rounds of revisions, your book should be ready to go, provided to you in PDF form so you can unleash it on the world — in your name!

How long does the process take?
Depending on complexity and length, the process can take anywhere from two weeks to a few months. If I have availability, a quicker turnaround might be possible.
Will my name appear as author?
Definitely! And you'll have exclusive rights to the final book.
What are your qualifications as a ghostwriter?
As a seasoned journalist, I'll quickly get to the heart of your story or topic. I'm intensely curious and will no doubt become quickly immersed in the narrative. From a professional standpoint, I've written and published thousands of articles, including many award-winning features. I've also ghostwritten articles, author letters, and blog posts in the wine and food industry, and I've authored my own book (you can find it on Amazon).
Can I add artwork to the book's interior?
Of course. The format is really up to you. I'll send an onboarding form that will capture your preferences for the finished book.
Why the heck should I write an ebook, anyway?
Because you're a badass thought leader and you've always wanted to, but are perpetually overextended. The process is much easier with an established writer paving the way.
What if my book is already half-written?
Then, we'll start from there. Each process is unique. If you book a call, we'll discuss all of the possibilities.
