As a creative writer, I consistently stretch my creativity to write short stories, memoirs, poems, and more. In college, I learned about craft, form, and genre, as well as what makes characters captivating, what makes settings memorable, and what makes dialogue believable. I developed my writing skills and pushed my own boundaries. My peers and I participated in workshops where we read, edited, and discussed other students' written work. My experience receiving my professional and civic writing minor allowed me to write outside the world of creative fiction and focus more on rhetoric.

Social media has become the go-to platform for advertising events and communicating company messages to their consumers. I have experience creating social media posts from when I was a marketing intern at Granite United Way. I wrote thank-you letter templates that would be used in the future to send to donors. I am able to create engaging, informative messages that help strengthen your brand and relationship with your audience.
