Senior 3D & Spatial Design for Exhibitions & BrandsQiongzi Zhu
I design story-led spaces for museums, cultural institutions, and brands. From concept through to installation, I bring spatial storytelling, detailed 3D visualisation, and creative direction to projects that need to move people physically and emotionally.
What I bring to your project:
Whether you need a full creative lead or a specialist 3D designer embedded in your team, I adapt to the brief. I've led projects ranging from 30 sqm pop-ups to 2000 sqm museum exhibitions, working across exhibition design, experiential retail, brand activations, and heritage interpretation.
Recent clients include LI-NING (1250 sqm brand exhibition centre, Beijing), Imperial War Museums (multiple galleries and temporary exhibitions, London), IKEA/Space 10 (pop-up brand activation), and Manx National Heritage (retail and welcome hub).
How I work:
I typically start with a spatial concept rooted in narrative and research, then develop detailed 3D visualisations and technical drawings through to fabrication-ready output. I'm comfortable coordinating with curators, architects, graphic designers, and fabricators to keep projects on track.
Based in London. Available for hybrid or fully remote work.
