Summary

Project Phases & Guidelines
Pre-production: This phase involves discussing the client's needs, goals, and vision for the video project. We will discuss the type of video they want to create, the intended audience, and any specific requirements or constraints. We may also work on developing a script or storyboard for the video, depending on the scope of the project.
Post-production: This is the main phase of the video editing process, and involves reviewing and selecting the best footage, assembling it into a coherent story, and adding sound, music, graphics, and other elements to create a polished final video.
Review and revisions: Once the first draft of the video is complete, the client will have the opportunity to review it and provide feedback. I will incorporate their feedback and make revisions as necessary to ensure that the final video meets their expectations.
Final delivery: Once the final revisions are complete, I will deliver the finished video files to the client in the agreed-upon format and resolution.
Some guidelines that I would like the client to know before working with me include:
Clear communication: It's important that we establish clear lines of communication from the outset of the project, so that we can discuss any questions or concerns that arise and ensure that we are on the same page.
Timely feedback: To keep the project moving forward and ensure that we stay on track with timelines, it's important that the client provides timely feedback and approvals at each stage of the process.
Collaboration: Successful video editing projects require collaboration between the editor and the client, and I welcome input and feedback from the client at every stage of the process.
Respect for intellectual property: I always respect the client's intellectual property rights, and I will not use any footage or other assets from the project for any other purposes without the client's permission.
Overall, my goal as a video editor is to provide a polished final video that meets the client's needs and goals, and that is optimized for the intended audience and platform. I work closely with the client to ensure that the final product meets their expectations and exceeds their goals.

What's included

  • Edited video files

    The primary deliverable will be a finished, edited video that meets the client's specifications. This may include multiple versions of the video, such as different aspect ratios or lengths for different platforms.

  • Audio files

    If the video includes voiceover or background music, the client may receive the audio files that were used in the video, in case they need to use them for other projects or revisions.

  • Project files

    Depending on the software used to edit the video, the client may receive project files that contain all of the editing work that was done on the video. These files may be useful for future revisions or updates.

  • Note:

    It's important to note that the specific deliverables may vary depending on the client's needs and the scope of the project. As a video editor, I will work closely with the client to ensure that the final deliverables meet their expectations and are optimized for their intended use.
