FAQs
How long does the branding process take?
The entire process typically takes 4–6 weeks, depending on the scope of the project and your feedback during the revision stages. If you require a brand to be made quicker, let's discuss what you need and I can work within your project scope to provide you with something sooner. I’ll provide a detailed timeline when we start so you’ll know what to expect.
I already have an existing brand. I just need a brand refresh. Do you offer that?
Absolutely! If you already have a logo or some branding elements, I can work with what you have to refine and expand your brand. Alternatively, I can start fresh if that’s what you prefer. Let's chat about it and I can work something out for your brand that fits your budget.
I think I want to change the name of my business. Is this something you can help me with?
In the branding process, often renaming a business can help with repositioning it in the market and appealing to a new audience if that's what needs to happen to help the business grow. It can be very hard naming things that are so close to your heart and mind and I wouldn't really recommend trying! I work with some excellent copywriters who are experienced in naming businesses so we can definitely work on something like this together.
I would like to have the logo working files. Do they cost extra?
Yes, the working files (such as AI files) are not included in the standard package, as they are typically used for editing or creating derivative works. If you would like the working files, I’m happy to provide them for an additional fee. This could range anywhere between an additional $250 - $600AUD (Australian Dollars). This ensures you have full flexibility for future modifications. Let me know if this is something you’re interested in, and I’ll include it in your package.
What do I need to provide before we start?
You’ll need to provide details about your business, target audience, competitors, and any preferences or inspiration for your brand. If you have existing materials (like a logo, website, or brand colours), sharing those will help guide the process.
What if I don’t know my brand’s tone of voice or audience?
That’s completely fine! The discovery session is designed to explore and clarify these aspects. I’ll guide you with questions and exercises to uncover what makes your brand unique.
How many logo concepts will I receive?
You’ll receive 2–3 initial logo concepts based on the discovery session. From there, we’ll refine your preferred option through up to 2 rounds of revisions to create the final design.
Will the logo work for both web and print?
Depending on the different applications of where your logo will need to be going, I will make sure I design a logo that will be suited to all those applications. When I design logos, I try to create them without too much detail if they need to be small (e.g for embroidery on shirts) but I can always work around these constraints for you. Otherwise, your final logo will be provided in various formats, including web-friendly PNGs and JPGs, as well as print-ready EPS and vector files.
What’s included in the brand guideline document?
The brand guideline document includes instructions on logo usage, typography, colour codes, and guidelines for maintaining a consistent tone of voice. It ensures that anyone working with your brand knows how to represent it properly. I can also offer an extended social media version where I can provide in-depth guidance on how to apply the brand when creating content for social media. Let me know if you might need something like this.
Can you design additional materials, like business cards or packaging?
Yes, I can! Additional materials can be added to your project as an add-on. Let me know what you need, and I can provide a quote.
Will the social media assets match my brand?
Definitely! The social media assets, including Canva templates, are designed to align perfectly with your branding. You’ll be able to use them seamlessly across platforms.
I’m not familiar with Canva—can you help?
Of course! I’ll provide a quick walkthrough of how to use Canva templates, and I’m always here to answer questions if you get stuck.
