The Process
👋🏼 Step One: Introductions
Let's set up a quick call to go over the scope of your project. This is your time to explain what makes your Brand special and what your ambitions, goals, and guardrails are. I'll use this time to listen and better understand your needs as we move into Step Two.
What are your Brand's core values?
Who is your target audience?
Why is this the right time to build your Brand?
🔎 Step Two: Discovery
This is time set aside for me, after our initial introductions, to ask any follow-up questions and dig a little deeper on the information we explored in our call. This can typically be completed over email. This will culminate in the creation of a moodboard that will serve as a guiding document to ensure that I am aligned with your vision of the Brand.
👨🏻‍💻 Step Three: Design
I will digest all of the early work we've done and generate dozens of ideas and iterations to (eventually) create up to 3 directions worth sharing. This is the bulk of the process time and I may reach out occasionally with some gut checks and additional questions that may come up along the way.
📽️ Step Four: Presentation
We will hop on a quick call to go over the Presentation PDF that will feature 1-3 design directions, including Logos, Branding Elements, Color, Typography, and any relevant Mockups. This will give me a chance to go over my rationale and choices and to hear any of your initial thoughts and gut reactions. You'll also get a copy of the PDF sent to you for further review and to share with any additional stakeholders. Then, just collect and share any feedback, and we can move on to Step Five.
🔄 Step Five: Revisions
This standard package includes 2 rounds of revisions. This means that you'll review your designs (See Step Four), provide feedback, see an updated PDF, provide additional feedback, and then see your Final PDF for approval. If we need to continue beyond this, I will begin charging by my hourly rate ($50/hr).
📦 Step Six: Delivery
Once we have final approval on all assets, I will package all of the files into a neat little folder shared via Dropbox that can be downloaded for easy access. As mentioned above, this includes major file types (EPS, JPG, PNG) of all deliverables.
This also includes the Style Guide document that will contain information and usage guidelines about your Brand Assets. This will be a vital document as your Brand continues to grow and can be easily shared with any future designer or creative for future projects to ensure that you maintain consistency for your Brand.

What's included

  • Primary Logo  ✨

    The thing everyone will recognize your brand by. This will include stacked and horizontal versions of the logo, in full color and black and white. So that your brand is as easily noticeable on a phone screen as it is on a billboard.

  • Color Palette 🎨

    A customized collection of colors that will create brand recognition and consistency across all touch points. Delivered in CMYK, RGB, PMS, and HEX formats so that they can be recreated in any medium.

  • Secondary Logos and/or Marks 🥈

    2-4 complimentary marks that live in tandem with and support the Primary Logo.

  • Typography 🔠

    Fonts are a vital expression of your Brand's voice, tone, and personality. Details will be provided on how to license fonts used in your project, in addition to Google and web-friendly alternatives for platforms where custom fonts aren't able to be used.

  • Brand Pattern (If Applicable) 🏁

    A custom infinitely-scalable pattern that can be created utilizing your Primary Logo, Secondary Logos, Icons, Illustrations, Headlines, and more.

  • Icons (If Applicable) 💟

    3-5 custom branded iconography to help express primary features of your Brand or Service. These can be used on your website, Instagram Story highlights, and more.

  • Style Guide 📒

    A one-stop PDF resource that contains all of the aforementioned Deliverables and how to use them to continue to build upon your Brand's success.

  • Source Files 💾

    All of the Deliverables above in all major file formats (EPS, JPG, PNG). Depending on specific needs, this can expand to include SVG, PDF, .ai, etc.
