Summary
As a current Assistant Copy Chief and someone who has helped many colleagues edit their essays, I have developed significant experience in the realm of copy editing and proofreading. With this experience, I plan to bring out the author's voice and style while maintaining the standards of writing, no matter the genre.
What's included
The basics
Grammar, spelling, punctuation. We all know them and we all love them. I plan to deliver line-by-line edits of the basics, so not a single thing is out of place.
Style
Many different areas of work have different styles of writing they hope to achieve. Maybe it's AP style, maybe its narrative, persuasion, et cetera. I plan to bring out the style of the writing and the writer's voice.
Flow
Nothing is worse to read than choppy writing. Therefore, I plan to aid the flow of the work, keeping the reader's interest.
